with shakespeare being one of the leading bards in account, it is not surprising that hundreds of shakespeare biographies have been written in all of the world's major languages. his works are frequently divided into phases, moving around from comedies to histories to tragedies, and then to his final phase, romance. in the years of 1592 through 1594, shakespeare briefly left playwriting aside to compose lengthy poems like venus and adonis; also some of his sonnets. shakespeare was finally renowned for his works, performing his: poetry; sonnets; plays; and other work of arts for queen elizabeth and her successor, king james. but just as the rise of shakespeare's success, popularity, and help with homework reading and writing began to increase, he experienced a personal tragedy when his son hamnet died in 1596. examples of shakespeares thoughts and moral beliefs are expressed in many of his sonnets.
