a savage struggle was to follow on the basis of that motto. they were women of principal and pursued their goal with great passion, determination and fortitude. they were different to the previous suffragists writing a research paper last minute, led by millicent fawcett, who campaigned peacefully. the suffragists did not agree with the use of violence and marched through the streets holding rallies rather than rioting. however, the suffragettes were willing to take much more brutal action. they protested that the government cared more about material objects than it did essay on my dream partner, and so they decided to attack property. they set fire to public buildings, refused to give the government money through taxation, caused riots. they seemed to think that the government would give them the vote simply to stop the violence.
