just like the author expresses in a poem, they dont get benefits that full time professors get. i have no office, a shared desk, a small drawer, piled high with papers, short conferences, on the run. these lines support my opinion about the life of an adjunct. i think the mood of the poem is sad but also hopeful, the author hopes that someone would hear his words and change the world he lives in. i think you can really see personal statement for writers mood of the poem by reading it a couple of times over. you can feel the sadness and pride in authors words and his attitude. he wants to keep doing what hes doing because of his students, and he takes a lot of pride in his job. he believes that he must keep going even though the conditions of his job are bad, because he believes in his st.
