i believe i have found several fine examples which give me insight into the characters and quite possibly the authors minds. i feel, that to completely immerse oneself in this wonderful book, one must forget all the trivial things in the world today, namely anything that is a matter of consequence should be ignored. for example, the cost of a house, calculating stars that a person perhaps may own, etc. i chose to read this book, in my room, on my bed, with no music or tv on in the background, and just a dim little mood lighting. i feel this greatly enhanced my reading experience and allowed me to open my mind to the story. the first feeling i get from this book is that the little prince is a would hamlet make a good king essay, perhaps depressed, and lonely sort of fellow, seeking companionship. this is clearly evidenced by the line you know-one loves the sunset, when one is sad it could be argued that it is the sunset that causes the little prince to reminisce about different past events in his life that may make him sad.
