the movie starts the case right in the beginning. when i was reading the book, i pictured that atticus shot the mad dog really fast, but in the movie it seems like where to buy blotting papers took him couple of minutes. in the book atticus was giving jem a lesson not to shoot the mockingbird when he bought him an air gun. in the movie, atticus gave him a lesson when they were eating a lunch. it was something atticus dad told him when he was a kid. atticus dad told him that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird because they dont do anything but sing. the movie doesnt describe atticus trip to tom robinsons house to tell need a ghostwriter rap toms wife that tom is dead, but in the movie they do show it.
